加拿大安大略省中学教师联合会（Ontario Secondary School Teachers Federation，OSSTF）宣布：将于下周二（21日），在本省多个地区举行为期一天的罢工（one-day walkout）。其中，加拿大最大的教育局，多伦多公校教育局旗下的中学也将受到影响。不过，罢工并不包括TDSB位于杜兰区（Durham）的中学。
除了TDSB以外，其他受这次罢工影响的教育局有：
-Rainy River District School Board
-Near North District School Board
-Grand Erie District School Board
-Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board
-Simcoe County District School Board
-Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board
-Trillium Lakelands District School Board
-Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board
